Prof. Richard Pibernik

Professor Pibernik is deeply engaged in researching the globalization and digitalization of supply chains, having conducted extensive research projects within the pharmaceutical sector. Collaborations include partnerships with the Gates Foundation, the United Nations, and various pharmaceutical companies. His methodological emphasis lies in the mathematical-quantitative analysis of global supply chains.

Prof. Ulrike Holzgrabe

Professor Holzgrabe is widely acknowledged as an authority in evaluating and enhancing the quality of active pharmaceutical ingredients, with a notable focus on advancing new antibiotics. Her extensive involvement in committees at both the Federal Institute for Drugs and Medical Devices and the European Directorate for the Quality of Medicines and HealthCare has cultivated a robust national and international network for her.

Prof. Andrea Szczesny

Prof Szczesny’s empirical research focuses on questions of economic incentives and governance in the healthcare market. She is currently responsible for health economic evaluations of care structures in the healthcare system in projects funded by the Federal Joint Committee, among others.

Dr. Uwe Weidenauer

Dr. Uwe Weidenauer currently operates as an independent pharmacist and entrepreneur. With comprehensive expertise in the pharmaceutical supply chain, he has held diverse management roles spanning research and development, production, and sales. He successfully oversaw a global supplier business and routinely provides consultancy services to clients within the pharmaceutical sector.

Dr. Steffen Schweizer

Dr. Steffen Schweizer, a pharmacist by profession, presently oversees the global procurement operations for pharmaceutical research and laboratory supplies within a DAX company. With 25 years of expertise spanning chemical, pharmaceutical, and biotechnological development and production, he has also held responsibility for the B2B business involving biotechnologically produced pharmaceuticals, chemical active ingredients, and their precursors.
